Cabinet Store · 3227 NY-22 · Patterson, NY
Frameless and European-style cabinetry. Four series, a 20-colour paint programme, and the doors right next to the quartz racks. See them in Patterson — no appointment.
Adornus distributes through two centres — a Southeast centre in Doral, Florida and a Northeast centre in East Windsor, New Jersey. The Northeast centre is the one that serves us. We carry the line at the showroom on Route 22 in Patterson.
A framed cabinet has a solid wood frame across the front of the box, and the door sits on or inside that frame. It is the traditional American method. A frameless cabinet has no front frame. The door mounts straight to the box. It is the European method.
What that means in practice: frameless gives you more usable opening and wider drawers for the same cabinet width, because the frame is not taking up an inch of it. Framed gives you a more traditional look and a frame to scribe against on an out-of-square wall.
The honest trade-off: frameless is less forgiving in an old house where nothing is square, because there is less frame to hide behind. Say this plainly — it matters across most of our service area, where a lot of the housing stock is pre-war and the walls have moved. If your kitchen is older and the corners are out, a framed line may be the easier fit. If the room is square or new, frameless gives you the cleaner look and the extra inch.

Frameless, described by Adornus as the all-around solution. The workhorse frameless line — the one most people actually end up in.
Frameless, European modern. Flat and near-flat doors, gloss and matte finishes, the look people mean when they say "modern kitchen."
Semi-custom frameless, the most customisable of the four. The one to look at when you want frameless but the standard range does not quite cover what you have in mind.
Adornus publishes named doors across the series, including:
Finish families cover textured, gloss and super matte. We name the doors as a list only — come look at them in the showroom, because a finish reads differently in your hand than on a screen.
Adornus offers a 20-colour paint programme:
One genuinely useful paragraph: a paint colour chosen on a screen is not the colour you will get in your room. North-facing kitchens pull every warm white cold. This is the single best reason to take a sample home, and we will give you one.
High-gloss shows every fingerprint and every imperfection in the wall behind it. Super matte hides light but marks differently. Both photograph beautifully and live differently. Come look at them under real light in the showroom before you pick one.

The Essential Series is Adornus's frameless all-rounder. The one-page overview covers the door styles and the colour range.
The showroom is on Route 22 in Patterson, walk-ins welcome. The quartz racks sit right next to the doors, so you can hold a countertop sample and a cabinet door together under one light — which is the whole point of coming in.

We sell and deliver Adornus cabinetry. We do not install it. You buy the cabinets from us, you hire your own installer, and the two decisions stay separate.
One honest and specific note: frameless cabinetry is less tolerant of an out-of-square room than framed, because there is less frame to hide behind. It is worth telling your installer up front that the order is frameless, so they plan the scribing and the alignment for it. That is a genuinely useful thing nobody says.
