Newtown, and where we are.

Housing and kitchens.
Newtown covers a large area with a wide range of housing ages, from genuinely old houses to recent construction. That range means a cabinet order here is not one kind of job.
The older houses tend to have out-of-square rooms and kitchens that were added rather than designed — settled floors, walls that lean, ceilings that change height across a room. For those, the work is measuring in the room and building the layout around what is actually there, with filler and scribe where a wall leans. The newer houses tend to have larger and plainer kitchens, where the opportunity is storage and finish rather than layout — taller uppers, deep drawers, a real pantry where a broom closet was. Same cabinets, different conversation, and the honest thing is to know which one you are having before you order.
Old house, new cabinets.
Settled floors, leaning walls, ceilings that change height. That is the case for measuring in the room rather than ordering off a drawing — a cabinet order is a fixed size, and an old house does not care what the plan said. Book the free measurement visit → For an older house the style question usually points one direction too — framed, raised-panel and inset cabinetry reads like it belongs.

We do not install.
We sell cabinets, we measure, and we deliver them. We do not install them, and we do not arrange anyone who does. You hire your own installer, and your contract is with them. This is deliberate: we have no installer on payroll to keep busy, so we have no reason to steer you toward anyone or to bundle a labor number into your cabinet price. You see what the cabinets cost, you see what the labor costs, and neither number hides inside the other. Read how to check an installer before you pay a deposit →
One note for Newtown homeowners hiring an installer.
Connecticut registers home improvement contractors through the State Department of Consumer Protection, and you can verify a registration through the state's online licence lookup — search "Connecticut DCP licence lookup" and check the name yourself.
