Beekman is one of the parts of southern Dutchess that saw substantial residential subdivision development over recent decades, alongside older rural housing. Those are two different housing stocks and they want different things.
The older rural houses have the usual story — settled floors, out-of-square rooms, kitchens added rather than designed, a measuring job before it is a style job. The subdivision housing has a different problem: a handful of plans built a number of times, which means the same kitchen, the same dead corner and the same undersized pantry, house after house. The gain there is almost always storage rather than square footage — deep drawers, a corner that works, taller uppers — and the conversation is shorter because we have usually seen the layout. The honest thing is to ask which one you are in.

We sell cabinets, we measure, and we deliver them. We do not install them, and we do not arrange anyone who does. You hire your own installer, and your contract is with them. This is deliberate: we have no installer on payroll to keep busy, so we have no reason to steer you toward anyone or to bundle a labor number into your cabinet price.
