Putnam Valley, and where we are.
Putnam Valley is a rural town in western Putnam County, about seventeen road miles west of us. Our showroom is on Route 22 in Patterson, at 3227 NY-22.

Putnam Valley is heavily wooded, low density, and built around a number of lake communities — many of which, like Putnam Lake and Lake Carmel on our side of the county, began as seasonal housing and became year-round. That history has a specific kitchen consequence.
Small original footprints, piecemeal additions, and kitchens that were never planned — the same story as the lakes on our side, just on the west of the county. The housing is set back in the trees on long lots, which changes two things about an order: natural light is often limited, and delivery access on a long or unpaved drive is worth flagging up front. The honest job here is a measuring job against rooms that have been worked around rather than designed, and a finish chosen in the room it will actually live in rather than under showroom light.

Two useful points. Limited natural light changes how a finish reads, so take a sample home. And long or unpaved drives are worth flagging when you arrange delivery — boxed cabinets are heavy and the truck needs to get reasonably close to where they will be stored.

We sell cabinets, we measure, and we deliver them. We do not install them, and we do not arrange anyone who does. You hire your own installer, and your contract is with them. This is deliberate: we have no installer on payroll to keep busy, so we have no reason to steer you toward anyone or to bundle a labor number into your cabinet price.
