Somers is in northern Westchester County, about fifteen road miles southwest of us. Our showroom is on Route 22 in Patterson, at 3227 NY-22.
Three Somers, three different kitchens.
Somers is a mix, and it is worth being honest about that. There is older rural and village housing — tight kitchens in older houses, with the usual settled floors and corners that are not square. There is substantial later subdivision development — houses built to a handful of plans across a few decades, with larger but plainer kitchens that share the same awkward corners and undersized pantries, several hundred times over. And there is a large planned residential community, where the kitchens are consistent and the question is finish and storage rather than layout.
Those are three different kitchens with three different budgets and three different problems. A page that describes "Somers homes" as one thing is wrong. The useful conversation depends on which Somers you live in, and the honest answer is to ask.
